EARTH DAY CELEBRATIONS

Our partners, Intel and Chandler Fashion Center, made a splash of green for Earth Day showcasing AZ StRUT services, sustainable products, tree planting by text message, and giveaway items like reusable shopping bags.

RESULTS: With over 25 Intel volunteers, we collected 5,272 pounds of electronics. Plus we refurbished over 300 chrome books to donate to Arizona schools, students and non-profits. And we presented our Techie Camp to eight students who earned a refurbished laptop to take home.

AZ StRUT's Circular Economy was in full swing and sight for everyone to see as they celebrated Earth Day with us.

Intel volunteers greeted donors and unloaded cars full of electronics.

Chandler Fashion Center provided a great outdoor space and lots of delicious pizza for lunch.

Chandler Fashion Center offered visitors free reusable bags after sending a text to a tree planting organization.

Intel volunteers and family learned how to refurbish computers and prepare devices for distribution.

Eight Techie Campers got their hands onto and minds into computer hardware. After lunch, they each earned a refurbished laptop to take home.

AZ StRUT collected over 5,000 pounds of electronics and will divert all of these devices from the landfill.

Paradise Valley Police Department and Paradise Valley Wealth Management owner Mike Cummiskey kept Spencer and Eugene busy collecting electronics on April 27th.

SRP donors kept Camilla filling up the boxes with electronics that will enter our circular economy approach.

We recently received a grant to distribute computers to individuals through a computer lottery program.

AZ StRUT is now accepting requests from Arizonans who need a computer. Click here to learn more and see if you meet the requirements to apply for one of these free refurbished computers. Please share the link with anyone else you know who may need a computer.
