Techie Lab
Partnership schools!
Back in 1998 when Intel and Motorola first started AZ StRUT, we had only one school partner. Every year we have continued to expand on our unique model. Each of our Techie Lab classes get free, hands-on learning materials all year long. As one Techie Lab teacher said, "My students get so motivated when Rich, AZ StRUT Education Manager, brings us computers to work on. Students prefer to have real computers to work on rather than the normal
virtual programs to learn hardware skills." Imagine that! Students want to work on REAL devices, not web based simulators.
In addition to trouble shooting, students learn how to refurbish computers and feel satisfaction knowing that the computers they renew are given to students and non-profits who need of them.
Fifty schools are now supporting the AZ StRUT mission.
